The Fintech Institute(TFI) in collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) presents: “The Fintech First Dive – Fintech Fundamentals Learning Program”
Financial technology is redefining the financial services sector and the way organizations interact with their clients and customers. Fintech presents traditional players with a difficult choice: invest in disruptive, but unproven, technologies and accept the costs of disposal or write-off of legacy technology and physical infrastructure – or risk losing business to more technologically advanced innovators.
Fintech challenges established ideas but also provides an opportunity for existing market participants to diversify their product range, improve efficiencies, manage risk more effectively and reach a wider customer base.
This training will provide a comprehensive understanding of the various key concepts, business models and technologies of the Fintech, Cybersecurity, crowdfunding, Big data and Blockchain and payments sectors, which are emerging areas in the Financial Services industry and provide a solid grounding for participants to pursue a career or progression in these exciting new areas.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will gain a strong understanding of the different technologies creating the Fintech disruption in the banking industry, including Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cloud, Big Data, Cryptocurrency, cybersecurity and emerging global threats.
Participants will also be introduced to various key concepts, business models and technologies that are emerging in a Fintegrated world
Data Security, cyber threats and emerging global threats in an ever changing fintech landscape will be analyzed as well
Participants will be able to appraise fintech challenges and rapid response strategies
Emerging technologies and how to leverage these digital disruptive technologies
Understand better the emerging customer needs and expectations, and how banks and fintechs are responding with an improved customer experience
